Summer camps 2018

Get ready for the experience of the year!  Our performance based camps get kids hooked on music as a social activity.  Bands practice a group of songs and perform them in the community.

"Thank you so much for a great week, Daniel!  Kimia had a blast! :)  I am so impressed how you coordinated music for and coached 10 kids with disparate backgrounds to play together in just a couple of days.  And they got noticeably better each day. :)   Even though Kimia had literally just started the guitar a couple of days before camp you made her an integral part of the group. It was exactly what she needed to jump start her musical ambitions."

"Thank you for another wonderful musical experience for Jack! As a parent,  it is my favorite camp of the summer.  You do an amazing job."
-Kristi, parent
"Thank you very much Daniel. It's been a fantastic experience for the boys :)"

"It was really a great camp! We appreciate your hard work in putting all talents together! "
Throughout the summer, Rockory offers music camps, each with a different genre.  The focus is on performing a set of songs to the public.  Participants choose between rock, reggae, pop, and r&b themed bands.  Students learn about busking (earning tips for playing), and the work it takes to rehearse music and present a high quality concert.  Monday and Tuesday are spent learning songs and practicing.  Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are performance days.  The group travels to several locations in downtown Kirkland to play their show!
